Ada obtained her PhD from the University of Toulouse, France, where she was investigating autophagy and nutrient-sensing pathways.

As a postdoctoral fellow at VIB Center for Cancer Research in Leuven, Belgium, Ada is studying cell-cell communication in melanoma.
