Claire Olingy, PhD

Washington D.C., USAClaire received her Bachelor of Science degree from Washington University in St.Louis, after which she completed a joint PhD program between Georgia Institute of Technologyand Emory University developing immunomodulatory biomaterials for promoting tissue repair inDr. Edward Botchwey’s lab. After receiving her PhD, she joined Dr. Lynn Hedrick’s lab at LaJolla Institute for Immunology as a postdoctoral fellow, where she studied myeloid cell functionsin cancer. In 2020, Claire joined AAAS and the Science Immunology team as an Associate Editorhandling research papers and reviews in all areas of immunology.
