Environmental Efforts

︎

We are committed to creating a more environmentally friendly Symposium and promoting awareness of the environmental impact of our events.

Therefore, for CRS21:

  • The event booklet is available in digital format only, via a QR code or NFC onsite, and on the virtual platform and website.

  • All the Symposium printed materials are produced with recycled resources or are re-used from previous editions.

  • We will not be providing conference bags nor plastic badge holders.

  • We are moving towards less impactful catering arrangements and we have massively cut down on non-recyclable single-use products and tableware.

Symposium onsite delegates may also play a major role in helping us reduce waste by:

  • Bringing and re-using an old lanyard.

  • Collecting a notebook and pencil only if needed.

  • Bringing your water bottle which you can refill in water fountains available throughout the venue.

  • Disposing of all waste at the correct stations and recycling bins.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation! We hope to report on the environmental impact of the Symposium and share this data with you, after the event. It is our goal to keep improving with each Symposium.

This symposium is supported by QuantOCancer Project funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement Nº 810653.
