Margarida is a PhD student in Joe Paton’s lab at the Champalimaud Foundation. She is interested in understanding the general principles of learning in biological and artificial agents. Previously she did a BSc in Mathematics, and a MSc in Applied Mathematics at Instituto Superior Técnico. During her MSc thesis she worked on probabilistic graphical models, supervised by Alexandra Carvalho and Mário Figueiredo.
