His groups is interested in computation across the entire nervous system and its role in flexible behavior, learning, and body-brain communication. Before joining Janelia, he was a postdoc at Harvard and did his PhD at the Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit at UCL. His group also develops imaging, connectomic, and computational technology to enable question-driven research at the whole-brain and whole-body scale.
