Odelia Schwartz

Odelia Schwartz

Associate Professor of Computer Science @University of Miami

Odelia Schwartz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Miami. Her research is at the intersection of the brain sciences and machine learning. A main focus has been understanding how the brain makes sense of visual information in the world.

She received a Ph.D. from the Center for Neural Science at New York University and an MS in Computer Science at the University of Florida. She did her postdoctoral research at the Salk Institute. Her research has been funded by the NSF, the NIH, the Army Research Office, a Google Faculty Research Award, and an Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship Award.
